Listened to Scott's podcast and was very surprised to hear that before Sally daz's murder, Sally daz had reached out to Basciano to find out why he wasn't getting any protection from the Bonnano family. Scott claimed Sally paid millions of dollars of tribute over the years which probably is true but the crazy part is basciano called Mancuso and Mancuso did nothing. Basically left Sally daz hanging out to dry and disrespected Vinny Goregous to boot. Supposedly this was recorded on prison phones too. Starting to blow my mind how this Mikey Nose is till the boss. Shows the current strength od the bonnano family is either in rough shape or everyone is just letting Mikey Nose hang himself. There still seems to be capable leaders in that family but they must wanna stay away from the spotlight. Scott also Said Joe Commarano is working a 9-5 now. Good podcast

Being in the spotlight maybe not the national but very much a figure even in 2022 it makes the family look weak having this retard as boss. Maybe there is enough money still flowing that they just don't give a fuck? Thats all i can figure.

In fairness to Cammarano, Mancuso was able to take back control of the family while he was under indictment and on trial. It would've been interesting to see how it would've played out if Joe C was never indicted.

Short of giving Sally Daz round the clock protection which Cosa Nostra is not known to provide to associates what could Mikey Nose even do? Gang members were stalking the guy with tips from his own son. Maybe Mikey did put word out on the street but that word stays within their own circles and doesn’t make it to the corners the Bloods control.

It comes down to Vinny Gorgeous basciano has no weight at all anymore. mancuso is a knucklehead and I would not be surprise if an enterprising family - say the Genovese - just come in - swoop them all up and simply say - your'e in our family now! facit accompli!
