Re: [Current] mobster’s homes
If you notice, the only guy I’m aware of who currently lives in the city is Spina. Everyone else lives out in fancy suburbs, or in some cases, way out in the exurbs (Johnny Sack-style brand new developments way out in the sticks).
This was living large when some of these guys were still in the city. The infamous “Cozzo compound” at Race and Ogden in the Grand Ave “Patch” neighborhood on the city’s Westside. The story is that the building on the corner adjacent to the Cozzo family’s original building was occupied by a Puerto Rican lounge. When Jimmy Boy Cozzo wanted to tear the lounge down and build an in-ground swimming pool (something unheard of in a rough inner city neighborhood also called “the Badlands”) and the PR guys refused to sell, they had Mikey Swiatek, a demolition expert and Grand Ave crew associate, simply blow the building up. The walled area is where the pool was installed, in order to keep LE surveillance out.
When he went on the lam from the Family Secrets case, Joey Lombardo was still living in a small apartment in the same building he’d moved into in the 1950s, which his wife had grown up in, also in the Grand Ave neighborhood. Lombardo’s wife’s cousin, Joey Andriacchi, also grew up in this building. While
Lombardo never left “Da Patch”, Andriacchi went on to live in posh suburban mansions and the like.

You can tell he really cares about the environment because it looks like he is driving a energy efficient vehicle.PolackTony wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 4:45 pmThey have to keep the bushes cut short so that Albie can see over them.Teflon Dom wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 4:40 pmLooks like edward scissorhands did it up lolPolackTony wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 3:40 pmNot a guy whose lawn I’d wanna fuck up, lol.
Re: [Current] mobster’s homes
Yeah the chicago houses look nicer but the NY house are extremely overpriced.1 million gets you a mansion in chicago while 1 mill gets you a 100sq ft apartment in NY.So the NY guys have to be making paul castellano money to have a house like his.I have family in New orlens and the house there are so beautiful and the prices are decent

Albie Vena has long been a vocal advocate for social and environmental justice.Tonyd621 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 5:22 pmYou can tell he really cares about the environment because it looks like he is driving a energy efficient vehicle.PolackTony wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 4:45 pmThey have to keep the bushes cut short so that Albie can see over them.Teflon Dom wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 4:40 pmLooks like edward scissorhands did it up lolPolackTony wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 3:40 pmNot a guy whose lawn I’d wanna fuck up, lol.

The plumber who was reading the Cosa Nostra book found in his trunk? Plumbers live in mansions, huh…Only in Staten Island.

Calling him a ‘plumber’ is misleading because waking up and unclogging drains all day for a living isn’t the same thing as owning a successful plumbing company with 20-30 employees.
No one ever called Anthony Gurino ‘the plumber’ but it’d be same thing.
