I’m curious about this guy. There is very little information out there about him. I never heard of him until I read Five Families about his involvement in the windows racket with Pete savino. Some sources online say he killed up to 30 people, I don’t see how that is possible but definitely was a hitman. The thing that is interesting to me is that he doesn’t seem like the typical Genovese member. He was a wild drug dealer, and by most accounts a homicidal maniac, but he got made at a very young age compared to most, and was involved in some very lucrative rackets, he seems like a very interesting character…..

I was surprised when I found out that John didn't become a witness.
I came across information about Big Tony Russo in the post-war period in Colombo, it was said that Pappa probably wouldn't have lived for a long time, because there was a risk that he would turn over and be cut off

I read on here a few months ago that there were wiretaps of Jackie DeRoss talking about wanting to kill him right after the war ended. The feds basically saved his life if that’s true, I would of snitched if I was him If I was told about the tapes.

He have a tatoo "Death Before Dishonour" in italian,his mother run away after his father murder but he turned back because was so obsessed to be made that for sure he wouldnt flip event if the feds would forced him to listen the tapes (and maybe did it).
