Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
I think it's more of a coincidence. One article linked Sébastien Giroux's (Silva's friend) murder a series of murders linked to the HA cleaning house that all took place in a specific drug territory.
Cherfan was killed and operated outside of this area. Another article mentioned Cherfan being in conflict with Ziad Ziade, another well known Lebanese figure in Montreal, in recent years. It's also not the first time Cherfan has been targeted.
Maybe if Giovanni Presta turns up dead within a month I'll start to believe someone is targeting Silva's accomplices Maybe it is all connected, maybe it isn't, only time will tell.

it’s not every day you get to read an article that mentions both the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the mafia in Montreal.

This article claims he's a leader of Lebanese cell that has been in conflict with Ziad Ziade and has been connected to Giuseppe Focarazzo.

Is Leonardo Rizzuto, Stefanie Sollecito or Salvatore Scoppa boss of Montreal?

Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
There was two Canadians reportedly killed in Mexico yesterday and their throats were slit. Idk if it's cartel/mob related it didn't give names
Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
Do you have a link for this? Probably isn't anything related to the Montreal Mafia, if it's OC related I'd throw my money on it being related to the gangs out west.
Edit:
Just found a link for it.

The guy was found with multiple IDs and was wanted internationally for fraud. Was also in Playa del Carmen which seems to be a hotspot for Canadian criminals of all sorts. Back in January 2 Canadians connected to the BC gangs were shot and killed. Back in 2011 a Montreal cop was vactioning there when he spotted other Qc police officers mingling with known HA and West End Gang members associated with the Wolfpack Alliance. The cop tried getting pictures but was caught and then beaten.

Peter Edwards’s story about this is out:

In it he quotes his Wolfpack Alliance co-author, the Mexican journalist Luis Nájera.
