If that degenerate slip-and-fall artist Hootie Russo is to be trusted, Alphonse is allegedly shelved for life and moved out to Long Island (despite the fact he was building a house in Howard Beach when he got arrested). He's living out there enjoying "all of the money he got to keep"... because according to Hootie again, the government didn't take anything from him at all - Al got to basically keep all of his illegally accrued cash from over the years. So if we are to believe someone who admittedly wasn't on record, sold some drugs with another associate who was connected to this crew 9 years before the big indictment, and knew Al and some of the other guys from playing Baseball as literal children... Alphonse who was given his own crew to run, was direct with bosses, was a favorite of the administration and other captains, met regularly with captains in other families (including Philly), ran one of the most profitable and hard working crews the family had ever seen in modern times, and took his sentence on the chin... a guy like that is now shelved for life because certain people (one of whom is dead now) "did not like the way he carried himself"

Cefalu was tight with Bobby Glasses who Al had the beef with so I guess it's possible he's still shelved...I also heard Al moved to Florida but idk for sure

I remember that the Corozzo incident was because during the 2011 trial Corozzo used his son to send a messagge to Trucchio that said something "if you have something to tell me,come to me and tell it" and Corozzo son said "So,I'm not a man?"
I read that Vernace slapped Trucchio.

I'm pretty sure the story is he disrespected Vernace who was consigliere at the time and thats why he was slapped. The rumor is he was trying to extort Frank Roccaforte who was collecting money for Trucchio and Frank Roc's dad sent word to Vernace about it. Vernace went to speak to Trucchio and Trucchio disrespected him which led to Vernace hitting him. So you have that incident plus him disrespecting Joe Corozzo sr and jr in court and thats why he's shelved.
