Current Restaurants/bars owned by made guys ?
I know most mob guys can’t legally own one, but they still are really the owners.
Which current restaurants are allegedly owned by made guys ?

I forget the name of the place but I think Bonnano member John Contello from Brooklyn owns a place near the Jersey Shore in Atlantic Highlands. And, Cafe Luna in NJ on Route 9 in Morganville (?) is supposedly owned by a NJ Genovese guy but I can't recall his name.
Smh...I also forget the name of his place as well but John Zancocchio / Porky has a place on Staten Island. A couple, I think.
Then there's the most obvious...Parkside
I want to know about the more traditional long standing "popular" establishments that guys are known to frequent...to know who/how they are connected. Places like Campagnola, Bamontes, New Park Pizza, etc

What’s the name of the pizza place that John “Hollywood” Brescia owns? Am I mixing things up or is Brescia’s pizza spot in Little Italy/Mulberry?johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 5:49 amI love New Park! That plus Luigi’s on 5th and Joe’s on Carmine St are my top 3 Ny style slices

Al D’Arco owned La Donna Rosa in Little Italy. I think Anthony Scotto from the Gambinos (he passed away earlier this year) had owned an upscale spot in Manhattan too. I think when the Campos crew got busted, they noted that Richie Martino was hiding some of his money through a few pizza spots, amongst many other businesses.
In my neck of the woods, you have Carmen “The Cheeseman” DiNunzio who owns a cheese shop in the North End of Boston too.

Lombardi’s is Brescio. Apparently no longer owns it but that’s probably just an on paper thing.

Also, just remembered this and not sure if this what you’re looking for, but didn’t Angelo Spata of the Columbos and son in law of Carmine Persico, used to own a hot dog stand? Not sure if it was a permanent thing or just during the Italian feasts.
Then isn’t there also a pic of Decav soldier Luigi Oliveri working a BBQ/outdoor pizza stand at another feast stand.

Gohn has a good article about the Spata's and their holdings on his ColomboMafia site - I am not sure if they own a brick and mortar permanent place, but they are basically Sausage and Peppers vendors with prime real estate at all of the big NYC feasts, and assuming because of their connections, probably get a slightly better deal on having to kick back money. I think that out of all of the LCN money making ventures, them basically bleeding t-shirt and hot dog vendors at the feasts to near-death is one of the most pathetic. The Spata family owns Lucy’s Sausage & Peppers. They have stands at every big NYC feast. If you’ve ever been to a feast here you’ve seen them. The Spata family also goes big on decorations at their home in Dyker Heights every year, they are part of that neighborhood tradition.Southshore88 wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 7:23 am

In the old days there was always a lot of gambling done during the feasts. Whoever controlled the feast would have a secret casino, card games and stuff like that. My uncle went to Our Lady Mount Carmel feast every year and would say ‘I came for the feast but I stayed for the craps game and that’s why I’m broke!’newera_212 wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 9:50 am [ I think that out of all of the LCN money making ventures, them basically bleeding t-shirt and hot dog vendors at the feasts to near-death is one of the most pathetic. Great reminder on Gohn’s Colombo articles. Yeah it was a sausage and pepper vendor, not hot dogs. Glad I gave you enough info to get the correct infonewera_212 wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 9:50 amGohn has a good article about the Spata's and their holdings on his ColomboMafia site - I am not sure if they own a brick and mortar permanent place, but they are basically Sausage and Peppers vendors with prime real estate at all of the big NYC feasts, and assuming because of their connections, probably get a slightly better deal on having to kick back money.
