I thought Aloi was like 102 lol.

A small handful of these guys were made in '57 or earlier, right?

Yeah I believe Vinny Aloi, Bobby Manna, Larry Dentico, Joe Marino and Patsy Conte are the last of the pre-Appalachin members. I can't think of any others.

It's lined up perfectly for Joe waverly. Russo dies and his successor is under indictment.

What are the options, who will take the reins? I really can think of a name other than Joe Waverly.

We already know Teddy is suppose to take over after Russo so I'd assume that would still be the plan even if he's looking at 10 years.

I'm not saying this has any weight but someone told me DeLucia has stepped up since the indictment last fall.

Peter Castellana might still be alive. A while back I found and posted an "in memoriam" for a Peter Castellana, Sr. who died in 2020 but I never was able to confirm for sure if it was the Gambino soldier. It's on page four of this thing: http://www.olhope.org/wp-content/upload ... s-2020.pdf

I know Sonny Franzese went to prison in his 90s and guys like Andrew Mush and Vinny Asaro have faced legal problems well into their 80s….but it seems to me like a waste of resources to go after some of these guys. There’s like 700+ made guys in the greater NYC area…why waste valuable govt resources on anyone over the age of 80? Target the guys in their 40s 50s and 60s. I know many of these old timers are in leadership roles and that’s who you usually target…but I dunno. Spending valuable man hours and money to lock up someone that have a good shot at croaking before Biden’s first term ends seems less than efficient.

Doesn't matter if a guy is 110. If he's still active and giving orders, it's about targeting the upper hierarchy to affect the command structure of the family.
