onofrio modica was with daquila family ,his son phil a made guy and grandson onofrio made guy, who married joe debenedetto daughter, joe married vic amuso daughter i think also the modica's might be related to the mari's

Different guys on those two docs, CC.
The Salvatore Guarnera / Guarnieri born 10/29/1915 died in 1979. Death listing uses Guarnieri spelling but birthday matches that doc you posted.
The son Salvatore on Gaetano Guarnera's naturalization was born 7/2/1914 and died in 1998. Died under Guarnera name and birthday matches.
I think the first one is probably the right guy, as he lived near Bath Beach. A ship manifest has a guy born 9/29/15 (month is off but day of month is the same) who lived at another address in Bath Beach. The Gambino member was part of a crew based mainly in the Bath Beach area. If so, he might not be Messinese.

Acting captain pre-Garofalo also. Gaetano Martino was another captain of the crew pre-Garofalo. Working on something about him.

1st one was him, second was his dad which indicated they are Messinese.

Not sure that's his father -- the Salvatore listed as Gaetano's son on the naturalization is a different guy born the year earlier who died in 1998. The one who looks to be the Gambino member was born the following year and died in 1979. Might be Messinese too but different guys.
This is the guy from the first document you posted who HK and I think is the Gambino member - he also used the spelling Guernera on some records:
