LA D'ippolitos circa 1950's and nephew Mike from Philly?

Seen a documentary about the Dahlia D'ippolito case here in Florida which stated Michael is the nephew of a few Dips in LA who were into crime. I wonder if that family had ties to that area or if their descendants just moved there.

Ha, a friend was over here watching this in the other room while I was working on stuff and heard them mention the D'Ippolitos.

They were Lucchese associates from Baucina in NYC connected to the Prince Street crowd who moved to LA and got made. Never heard of a connection to Philly or Florida.
