Was Mike DeSantis really going to whack Al Darco and Sal Avellino in that hotel downtown? I don’t believe it, I think he either made it up, or he was just really paranoid. Possibly he used that incident to justify in his own mind turning informant. They wouldn’t kill him there. What do you think?

So the hotel story is probably from D’Arco’s paranoia. I bet none of the guys were armed neither lol

From the way Al D’Arco spoke about it, it did sound believable especially with his final encounter with Frank Lastorino right outside the door of the hotel room but honestly to kill D’Arco in the hotel room…It doesn’t really sound plausible but according to Al D’Arco once he got out of the hotel, his driver wasn’t there which was another sign that he was supposed to be killed in the hotel.
FBI Agents did tell D’Arco that his life was in danger and honestly if it wasn’t going to happen at the hotel room, it would have happened sooner then later because once again according to Al D’Arco, word was out that they shouldn’t trust him anymore so this led to people such as James Ida trying to avoid him

If D’Arco wasn’t going to be killed on that day then I wonder how Vic Amuso must have been feeling when D’Arco was testifying against him, knowing that D’Arco wasn’t even supposed to get hit.

I believe Pennisi mentioned this somewhere along the way and said he heard that yes they were in fact going to kill D’Arco in that hotel room. Now I’m not saying that makes it true but it’s info to consider. Does anyone else remember him saying this ?

Then only two things could have happened,AL was not gonna be killed or the best they had fucked up ,

90% chance he wasnt gonna be killed that day IMO, They might have been ready to kill but not 100% all in on it , At that time it was all in on a must hit , Al was a must hit
