Awesome stuff. Looking through the Genovese list now - who is Acting Capo Jerry Spinelli?
What's with the redacted names, as well?

Re: Membership Counts, 1993
Salvatore Galluzzo was identified as a Rockford member in the 1980s by the FBI but they questioned whether he was a Rockford member or a Sicilian Mafia member in Rockford. Odd since he had immigrated to Rockford in 1962. Gumba Saladino was never made a member in Chicago but was made in Rockford though I'm unsure of the exact year. Joe Saladino, I'm unsure when he was made but definitely by 2005. There were other Sicilians I'm sure were but don't have the files to back it up.
Re: Membership Counts, 1993
Redacted names are either guys who are still alive or guys who are dead that the FBI record processing clerks have not seen proofs of death for. You would think they could just access the member lists themselves but the agents who work in the records room probably have different access permissions than agents who update the LCN indices. Therefore, they rely almost solely on names they have received proofs of death for (and even then, they aren't consistent). Considering what they have to slog through as far as requests are concerned (e.g.: GIVE ME ALL OF HILLARY'S EMAILS), it is a thankless job.newera_212 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 9:04 am Awesome stuff. I think it was a reference to Guiseppe Spinelli. He was running the crew of Vincent Alo.

For the Genovese list, there’s a redacted in between Mario and Vincent Gigante - is it possible that this is referencing Salvatore Gigante (Mario’s son)? We’ve seen Capeci reference Mario’s son Salvation as a capo multiple times (whether that is his current status remains to be confirmed by an indictment) over the last few years and his approximate age is early-mid 70’s.
Given his infamous uncle and his father being a capo/acting boss/acting admin, it wouldn’t be that far fetched to think he got his button by his mid 40’s? But there’s so little known about his criminal activity so who really knows.
Anyways, just a thought for the potential Gigante between Mario and Vincent.

The redacted name between Mario and Vincent is likely their brother Ralph who died of AIDS on April 28, 1994.Southshore88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 12:11 am Thanks for sharing Snakes!

Do you know when Mario’s son Salvatore was made? Now that you’ve clarified the redacted Gigante was Ralph, I think I remember reading info (from yourself or maybe Pogo?) that Salvatore was made in the early 2000’s, is now allegedly a capo and predominantly Westchester based?
Also, do you know what rackets/criminal activity Salvatore is allegedly involved with and whether or not he’s taken over any of his father’s rackets? Correct me if I’m wrong, but was Mario’s crew based in Westchester and focused on garbage, gambling and loan-sharking?
Re: Membership Counts, 1993
Am I reading that Colombo list wrong or is it showing 136 members?
We have?Southshore88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 12:11 amWe’ve seen Capeci reference Mario’s son Salvatore as a capo multiple times
All roads lead to New York.
Re: Membership Counts, 1993
It is lol. I also found a November list but accidentally posted it instead of June. Not many changes overall but the feds apparently added 18 names in the 5 months between the two listings.

Great stuff. Does anyone know the status of these Colombos?
Charles A. LoCicero - Is this the one whacked in 1968 or another relative?
Frank Musacchio
Frank Tranquelino
Ralph Piccirillo - There are 2 of them on the list. I'm assuming father and son. Ralphie Patches Piccirillo died in 2001.

Re: Membership Counts, 1993
Most likely made in the late 90s - early 00s either after his release from prison or after his father's release. Allegedly running his father's crew. The info is very speculative in nature. We need to wait if he gets picked up or if his name pops up in an upcoming indictment.Do you know when Mario’s son Salvatore was made? Mario Gigante's crew operated primarily in Yonkers and all over Westchester County. They were also active in the Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Rockland counties, and New Jersey. They specialized in garbage industry racketeering, loan sharking, and gambling. Mario filled in the debt collector role for the family for decades. Back in the day, his favorite pastime was stomping unlucky debtors in the dick until they bled. Also, do you know what rackets/criminal activity Salvatore is allegedly involved with and whether or not he’s taken over any of his father’s rackets?
