Really curious as to the time these guys are looking at. Russo got 33 months in 2011 and he is even less involved in this indictment. Ralph DiMatteo seems screwed and will probably get hit hardest from the administration since he had the most direct involvement.

Junior Gotti also had $10M bail back in the late 90s, he also had another bail package of $7M in 2005. The $10M figure was one of the largest (if not the biggest) in the country at that time.

JR Gotti paid for 4 trials + Bail Vig on 10 million and federal security detail , they tried to drain him he still has money ,

i hear that, i read his book the other day, it was ok, an interesting take from his end on things. good things to say about a few guys like vinny gorgeous who he bumped into in the can a few times

The primary pretrial detention consideration is dangerousness to the community; continuing to extort, etc. The so called flight risk is never really the consecration in mob related cases as they’re all local guys for most part. It’s whether they’re charged with violent crimes and have violent histories which make them more likely to dangers to the community. I’m not saying I think he is or isn’t a danger, but that’s the consideration and that’s what the lawyers are going to argue in all these hearings.

The point at issue of early release is that it's arbitrary. There is no fair process eventhough it's fairness is what makes the people believe in the justice system

Well Vincent Eposito personally extorted over ten thousand dollars a year from the senior union official leading Local 2D, so it's part of the shakedown playbook. Plus clearly they wanted to take it another level with the benefit fund extortion, just didn't the time to complete it.

In both the Genovese and Colombo cases, union infiltration went back to at least the early 2000s. In the Genovese case, they were also pulling those other scams with the union, i.e. soliciting and accepting bribes, steering union benefit plans into investments in exchange for kickbacks, etc.
