How many soldiers and associates did the Trafficantes have by the early 2000s? I'm reading an article about Mamone's case from 2000, and it sounds like they were still functional at that time. Mamone was reporting to a captain and had quite a few associates under him. Did they still have a full administration at that point?

DM LaVecchia on his social media and let him know. He always says "I'll look into it" whenever someone recommends a mobster to interview, but he never follows through. Maybe the breakup with Pennisi will motivate him.

For now, but healthcare fraud/white collar crimes like that don't give you too too much time.

Just from looking at the first few pages of the indictment this looks particularly badly executed by this Mamone and his kids. His name is All OVER the one company and the bank accounts, and in the applications you sign certifications that neither you or anybody connected to you has over 5 percent interest in the business. Why didn't he just shake these guys down if he was a made guy and instead go put his name all over a "marketing company", which you're also not allowed to do with Medicare business.
Also, only 3 defendants, father and 2 sons. Do they stay strong or does one break and testify against the other 2. I'm very interested to see.
