I think he's referring to Savino. Casso believed him to be a rat. So did Benny Mangano, who told Casso he agreed with him about Savino but "Chin loves the guy so there's nothing we can do." Gigante definitely let his guard down on that one.

Rudy doesn't want to admit that Chin was really the boss when they thought it was Fat Tony during the commission trials. Fact is ...Rudy got it wrong and Fat Tony was just a front boss. Because of this mistake Chin lasted till 97' on the streets. Bought Chin another 12yrs on the streets.

Yeah, but these guys use violence to make money. It doesn't take a genius to rob a bank or loan someone money at five points a week, and then smack them around when they can't keep up with their payments. Even the more sophisticated schemes are underscored by the threat of violence.

Yeah its called consequences. No different than being scared of getting locked up and getting ass raped for 20 yrs. Or talking to the hot secretary and getting canned for sexual harassment. You can voluntarily borrow 10,20,30k from a guy, welch on your payments go to the govt get the money from them to pay your vig and testify the guy is part of OC and the guys 3-5 yrs.
