Pretty good book but obviously dated. And money is one of the trickiest things to track in OC.

Yes great book for it's time.

I put Cabrini green hip on that one.

The second book she wrote.... Called THEIVES WORLD or something similar.... Described a PAX MAFIOSO pact ....

The pact was said to be between ALL mafias.... Yakuza, cartels, Russian Mafia and Sicilian Mafia all making a deal with drugs.

Wish I could re read it....

It was around the 90s Red Mafiya scare tho and even had that involved in the story as well....

Has anyone read this book or know about the PAC MAFIOSO

Before she died she donated, I think, two boxes of notes and other things she acquired through her research to some University in California. I forget which one now but I would love to dig through those boxes and see what she didn't include in the book.
