Thanks for your response bro.PolackTony wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 9:13 pmI think the earlier seasons are hilarious. As with many shows, it gets kinda goofy and silly later on, as the characters become sort of one dimensional caricatures of themselves.Nick Prango wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 5:46 pmI have never watched that show. Young Paulie looks like a retard. I can't decide if this is good or bad.

Thought it looks good. Jon Bernathal, Vera Farmiga are quality actors. Chase is..... Chase. Liotta is a name but carries weight if he shows up.
We'll all be watching, lets not bullshit each other.

this new trailer looks cool but holy crap that song sucks
seems to be a shitty cover of Money by the Beatles, they should have just used the original since this is the 60s/70s

It’s a 1979 version by British New Wave band the Flying Lizards. I don’t much care for it either.
Also, can’t help but point out that the Beatles’ version was itself a “cover”, as the song was composed by Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford and first recorded in 1959 by Barrett Strong. The original record was the first hit for what became Motown Records.
Additionally, the (objectively) best version of this song, apart from the Strong original, was the 1968 cover by Buddy Guy.

Hopefully this does well and we can get a miniseries on young Tony and his crew.

I hope so but the guy playing Johnny Boy should be playing Paulie. Looks more like him to me.Nick Prango wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 11:07 pm Hopefully this does well and we can get a miniseries on young Tony and his crew.

Jon Bernthal. His career took off when he was on The Walking Dead (when it was actually good) and has become a solid actor.
All roads lead to New York.
