I think there were other reasons as well for Sonny Black getting clipped, I think pistone Himself said that he wanted to take over the family. That can also be a reason why they cut off his hands, for being greedy.

Do anyone think that a made guy should still be recognized as such if one of his protégés switched sides and becomes a rat ? No repercussions at all is really hard to believe - I know that no gets clipped any more but you would think that they would be put on the shelf for inducting a rat.

I’m pretty sure they don’t. May like damage their reputation but I don’t see anything happening. Even in the heyday of the mob I don’t remember anyone getting killed for somebody they sponsored
