Cocaine Cowboys - Kings of Miami

Great documentary series on Netflix. These guys were ruthless who took going to court and drug dealing to a whole new level. They bribed three jurors in a Federal court proceeding in Miami. Highly recommend watching the 6 episodes.

I've watched the first two episodes so far and loved them. Amazing story and really well made documentary.

It was a geat series but what was better was how the FBI stayed on the case and went after everyone who was involved in the corruption.

Brand new docu-series on Netflix. About Willy Falcon and Sal Magluta.

Billy Corben, who did the other Cocaine Cowboys, did this one as well.

Billy Corben is great, he also did those 30for30 specials on “The U”, the Miami Hurricanes football program.

Surprised that Jack Garcia identity was not compromised while testifying right around the time he started hanging out with DePalma. The media coverage was off the charts on this case. it was definitely a huge risk putting him in with DePalma.

What I loved is how Sal and Willie avoided killing people. It allowed them to run under the radar for so long. As we know, very rare in the drug gang to be non-violent. Great series, worth watching.

I watched it. Very good series. I like series like this that isn't a rehash of already well-known stuff. I never heard of these guys and the shit they pulled, is like what outsiders think the Mafia is actually capable of but aren't, in terms of the corruption, the amount of money and the killing of those set to testify.

10/10.
