But whats more amazing and I guess shows you how different it all really is, is there can’t be any recent unsolved murders (maybe uncharged) but I mean hits that no one knows who the shooter(s) are, since there’s so many cooperators that I feel like the public and LE knows how every murder went down in detail. Shit, there’s a thread filled with planned murders that never went down but LE found out about the planning/conspiracy, even if never carried out.

There are several unsolved killings in Philly...Nicasio Zagone, who was John Stanfa's nephew in 1994. Tippy Panetta and his much younger girlfriend in the early 80's. Frank Forline, who it was suspected that Tommy DelGiorno killed on the sneak. I'm sure there are others.

This list really makes clear how precipitous the drop off in murders has been. There was a fairly steady stream up until the Meldish killing. I would have said the disastrous results of that adventure are the reason, but the Lucchese administration didn’t go down for the murder until years later.
