Frankie Notch Iannaci, Chickie DeMartino, Gabe Scianna, Mickey Spataro
Hey everyone, what do you know about these guys? I know that DeMartino and Spataro are in prison for the attempted murder of Joseph Campanella. If you have complete information or a biography about them, please share it

Re: Frankie Notch Iannaci, Chickie DeMartino, Gabe Scianna, Mickey Spataro
There is little information about DeMartino and Spataoo, and I have not heard anything about the other guys, except that Gabe appeared in the newspaper. But it might not have been him.

In general, what was DeMartino reputation, did he have respect among the mobsters?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 9:45 am DeMartino was inducted into the family in early 1991.

He was incredibly feared, according to Giovanni Floridia, especially after the attempted Campanella hit. Floridia - who was decidedly less feared - testified that he began receiving respect from made members and non-made members alike after the Campanella hit.Nurzhamba wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 12:45 pmIn general, what was DeMartino reputation, did he have respect among the mobsters?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 9:45 am DeMartino was inducted into the family in early 1991.

DeMartino was on the outs with Cutolo in the late '90s, but still held his own as an influential member close to John DeRoss.
EDIT: DeMartino was apparently promised a promotion to captain if he whacked Campanella, but that never happened. He was not a tremendous earner, and lacked 'street smarts.' He was feared due to his reputation as a 'killer.' When Floridia was first introduced to a recently-released DeMartino in the late '90s by John Cerbone, Cerbone introduced DeMartino as somebody who had done work for the family, who was looking to build a crew. Floridia (who later became DeMartino's driver and right-hand) viewed DeMartino as unhinged, erratic, and capable of murdering anyone. Floridia was probably exaggerating a bit in his assessment - for instance, he also testified that he thought DeMartino might murder him on the spot after the Campanella hit. I personally don't believe Floridia actually believed this would happen.
Re: Frankie Notch Iannaci, Chickie DeMartino, Gabe Scianna, Mickey Spataro
Wow, just no comment. What was DeMartino's real motive when he shot Campanella? Where I read it was claimed that De Martino did it all for personal reasons, allegedly Campanella slept with his wife. Most likely, he wanted to rise to the rank of captain, if it was a personal motive.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 5:40 pmHe was incredibly feared, according to Giovanni Floridia, especially after the attempted Campanella hit. Do you know what DeMartino did before the Third war and after his release from prison? Maybe he had some kind of rackets?gohnjotti wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 5:40 pmHe was incredibly feared, according to Giovanni Floridia, especially after the attempted Campanella hit.
