Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Does the mob hire/work with Hispanic gangs such as MS-13, Latin kings, 18th street etc. I know that the mob is willing to work with black gangs as well as biker gangs, but i wandered if there’s a language barrier between the mob and Hispanic gangs.

Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Not really, most Hispanic gang members speak English... except MS13 since they bring in a lot of illegal criminals daily through the border also, MS13 & 18th street stay away from nyc.I was told one time that the Queens Chapter of the Trinitarios pays street tax which I don’t believe.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:59 pm Does the mob hire/work with Hispanic gangs such as MS-13, Latin kings, 18th street etc. I know that the mob is willing to work with black gangs as well as biker gangs, but i wandered if there’s a language barrier between the mob and Hispanic gangs.
Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Whether it's black or Hispanic gangs, there is some interaction on an occasional, ad-hoc basis. Most Hispanic gang or DTO members are going to speak at least enough English to get by. I've mentioned before that in the 2001 Genovese case, the charges included the family passing on $40,000 in counterfeit money to the Latin Kings.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:59 pm Does the mob hire/work with Hispanic gangs such as MS-13, Latin kings, 18th street etc. I know that the mob is willing to work with black gangs as well as biker gangs, but i wandered if there’s a language barrier between the mob and Hispanic gangs.

There’s a big ms 13 presence in Queens. Didn’t you hear about the subway shooting in queens by ms 13? It was all over the news. In Jamaica Queens there’s a few ms 13 cliques. One of them, the “CLS” clique, stabbed a 16 year old member to death in 2017.Lately the feds have cracked down on them a lot in nyc by using RICO.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 5:17 pmNot really, most Hispanic gang members speak English... except MS13 since they bring in a lot of illegal criminals daily through the border also, MS13 & 18th street stay away from nyc.I was told one time that the Queens Chapter of the Trinitarios pays street tax which I don’t believe.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:59 pm Does the mob hire/work with Hispanic gangs such as MS-13, Latin kings, 18th street etc. I know that the mob is willing to work with black gangs as well as biker gangs, but i wandered if there’s a language barrier between the mob and Hispanic gangs.

Oh yeah now I remember, I always had this idea that they weren’t in nyc because I see them on Long Island a lot, Uniondale, Hempstead, Huntington Station, Central Islip, Brentwood, etc full of them. They killed a friend of mine.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:50 pmThere’s a big ms 13 presence in Queens. Didn’t you hear about the subway shooting in queens by ms 13? Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Just a couple of weeks ago DHS and NYPD were surveilling some MS-13 members out in Far Rock and inadvertently caught them disposing of the body of some chick they killed. Just in the last couple of years in Queens there was the kid they killed in Kissena Park in 2018, another kid they killed on the 7 train platform in Elmhurst (that Slim mentioned above), and several other killings in Queens.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 12:35 amOh yeah now I remember, I always had this idea that they weren’t in nyc because I see them on Long Island a lot, Uniondale, Hempstead, Huntington Station, Central Islip, Brentwood, etc full of them. For whatever reason they don’t seem to have had much presence in BK or the Bx, even though there are a good number of Central Americans in both boros. When I used to live in Soundview I heard that they tried to open a chapter there back in the 2000s but I guess it died on the vine. Maybe too many established gangs for them to get a toehold.
I’ve always found the whole MS-13 thing to be creepy and bizarre, almost more like a death cult than a street gang, at least on the East Coast. I’m from Chicago and MS-13 was a completely alien concept to me until I moved to New York (and Chicago incidentally has quite a large Central American population, but they have no problem just joining Chicago street gangs). The ones out on the Island are fucking animals. I admittedly don’t follow them closely, but do they even really move drugs and stuff, or are they just a bunch of high schoolers and dirtbag day laborers who run around killing kids in parks and kidnapping girls? I mean Long Island MS-13, not LA or Central America.

Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Yeah man, MS13 guys are brutal. They’re desensitized like how cartel members would be, I’ve heard so many horrific stories you won’t believe, they don’t do it here but in El Salvador for example if they find you, they’ll drag you out of your house & murder you on the spot, right in front of your family or if there’s a lot of people they’ll drag you out of the town & murder you there. The ones on the island are animals also, I don’t know what do they do to them upon initiation but a lot of them are just vicious I met a guy who was going through trials with them, then they asked him to murder a fellow MS13 member at a park who was snitching and he backed out, but they still went forward with it and murdered him that same night. Anyways, they’re brutal and most don’t even make a lot of money, they tend to join just for protection or the glamour, some even join just to belong to something (talking about troubled kids here) but yeah, they move from state to state for example one can get deported today, & by June he’ll come back, or they’ll commit a murder in NY & move to Maryland and continue doing work.PolackTony wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 1:34 amJust a couple of weeks ago DHS and NYPD were surveilling some MS-13 members out in Far Rock and inadvertently caught them disposing of the body of some chick they killed. Ad-hoc? If they are in the streets, you deal with whomever is bringing in money. If you sell weed, you are dealing with everyone. Arrilotta was practically gushing about the " Jamaican crew outta NY,... they were chopping bodies up".. I think he even said he like, ate at their houses, he might have meant someone else, I gotta watch it again.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 5:44 pmWhether it's black or Hispanic gangs, there is some interaction on an occasional, ad-hoc basis. Hell, look at the Bonnanos issues with messages and that Spirito kid. It becomes understandable why the Luchesse, who also has imprisoned leadership, would say, work out a deal with Bloods to smuggle cell phones into prison. Could Mancuso have benefitted from such a connection?
Business is business.... even those DiGiacomos in Sicily did business with Black Axe, in fact there was just a huge bust......
Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
Ad hoc meaning the connections are sporadic, not consistent, etc. The Lucchese/Bloods thing is a good example. The press made a lot out of an "alliance" between the two but it was simply them working together in that instance. Not a formalized, ongoing partnership.CabriniGreen wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 4:52 amAd-hoc? If they are in the streets, you deal with whomever is bringing in money. There was also the botched plot in 2014 of the westside hiring some bloods to take out Joe Bonelli in Queens. Makes me wonder how the mob even comes in contact with gangbangers. Two different worlds.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 6:35 amAd hoc meaning the connections are sporadic, not consistent, etc. The Lucchese/Bloods thing is a good example. If I remember right the initial Lucchese-Blood connection was made by members in prison.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Re: Question about mafia and Hispanic gangs
I’d imagine the guys at the Lower end have a semi common interaction with Black & Hispanic gang bangers than the guys at the top.
Also wtf was that Zottola thing I thought it was a legit LCN hit but looks like the son did it on his own to kill his dad & bro for joker poker machines.
Also in my city they tricked a local Gangbanger into believing a FBI agent was a high ranking LCN figure from Las Vegas asking him to supply him with 20 pounds of pure meth https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/pr/le ... le-federal
