I was watching a Vlad interview with Hootie Russo and he says at the time of the Mafia Takedown day in 2011, Bobby Vernace was boss and JoJo Corozzo was consigliere...I knew this abt Corozzo but when was Bobby Glasses ever boss...I know he was on a ruling panel but acting boss?

Also, Hootie is all over the place? Says he was up to be made 3 timessage but was never under anyone? How the hell is that possible? Was he even in Al's crew?

If it was just Gambino and Vernace left on the panel after Marino was indicted in 2010 maybe they gave Vernace final say for a time but he never was acting boss officially.

I'd read somewhere that he got took off the shelf and JoJo was retired but I have no idea if that's true...I do know him and Little Nick were in the same halfway house for a bit before they hit the street.

From what Capeci wrote it sounded like he was still on the outs but who knows guys get taken off the shelf all the time. It also depends how bad that incident was in prison.

Here’s the story... I was told this right when it happened and everyone gave me a ton of shit about it, then a while later capeci wrote about it and confirmed it..
so as far as I know, al was trying to shake down mike roc’s brother, mike roc’s dad got wind of it and got the word back to Bobby vernace.. vernace confronted al... I’m sure they argued, vernace bitch slaps al and shelved him.

Also al fell out of favor around the same time with jo jo... al disagreed with jojos son (the lawyer) about defense strategy when they were all fighting the case... Al said some disrespectful shit to Jojos son, which jojo took as disrespect towards him, and also wanted al shelved... not a good position to be in at that time. Having jojo and Bobby hating you..

I think trucchio and roc were best friends and he tried to shake down his brother lol
