Re: Scott- chicago
Few more good articles this week about sarno and porky pordylA trying to be worked into the vena case. Feds seem to have at least as much circumstantial evidence on the zizzo hit as when Allie persico was convicted for the cutolo thing. I'd be surprised though if porky did the hit on zizzo. If he was going to sitdown and porky was in the car hard to believe he would get in unless it happened somewhere else. Would be very interesting though if the zizzo hit was part of the indictment

If these guys talked about anything of any real consequence in front of Jillian, then they deserve to be locked up for the rest of their lives.
Re: Scott- chicago
Scott reporting past murders, including that of Allen Dorfman (Vena one of the suspected gunmen), could be included in a forthcoming indictment.

Yeah I posted about Volpendesto yesterday in the Real Deal Forums' thread about Paul Schiro being in the MCC.

Re: Scott- chicago
I used to keep up with Chicago as much as I did with Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Detroit etc. However, two kids under 3, work, wife, family etc I just don't have the time anymore. Question: Besides DiFronzo (who is supposedly semi-retired), which other Outfit guys from the 1980's/1990's are still holding weight? Are there any? Any of Accardo, Aiuppa or Lombardo's protege's at the rigns now?

Joe Andriacchi and Solly D allegedly hold the most weight today.JCB1977 wrote:I used to keep up with Chicago as much as I did with Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Detroit etc. However, two kids under 3, work, wife, family etc I just don't have the time anymore. Re: Scott- chicago
Also, D'Amico, Inendino, and Matassa are some other guys who have been around awhile and are apparently still "active."
Re: Scott- chicago
Albie Vena was a protege of the clown and he is one of the top guys these days. People sleep on him that aren't from here as his name didn't get much press till recently but he was spotted meeting with difronzo and zizzo boss and underboss supposedly over ten years ago so that should say he's been up there since at least that time especially since Johnny didn't meet with anyone usually. Joey A holds sway more as an elder statesman after his battle with cancer and considering he's over 80 he doesn't seem very active. Solly d came up under joe ferriola. I'd say solly d and vena are the two biggest fish on the sea with guys like inendino and pudgy matassa coming after. Seems like a good amount of solly cataudellas power dried up when sarno went away but he's still thought of as on that level too. Can't forget toots Caruso either. The accardo aiuppa guys are long goneJCB1977 wrote:I used to keep up with Chicago as much as I did with Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Detroit etc. However, two kids under 3, work, wife, family etc I just don't have the time anymore. Thanks for the info Antillar, Pete & Snakes. While I've heard of both of them, I know nothing about either.

Re: Scott- chicago
Here is some info on both.
Andriacchi is way harder to find information on, he is adept at keeping out of the spotlight.
http://mobstars-inc.com/chicago-outfit/ ... ndriacchi/
Joseph “The Builder” Andriacchi (born October 20, 1932) has been reported by Chicago newspapers to be a high-ranking member of the Chicago Outfit criminal organization.
Biography
In 1989, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Andriacchi had been elevated to being the second-in-command in the Chicago Outfit. The article identified Andriacchi as having two nicknames: “the Sledgehammer” — because of his unsubtle ways as a safe smacker — and “the Builder.” The article also noted that Andriacchi had been imprisoned on burglary charges from 1968 until 1971.
Andriacchi was one of several reputed mobsters ordered to appear before a federal grand jury after the May 17, 1992, bombing of a car outside the home of a daughter of mob turncoat Leonard Patrick, who was in the process of testifying against several known mobsters.
Andriacchi is said to be the silent owner of popular Italian restaurant chain, “Rosebud,” in Chicago, Illinois.
Andriacchi was identified in a 1995 Chicago Tribune article as being an underboss for day-to-day operations for the Chicago Outfit.
In 1997, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Andriacchi was “at the top of the Outfit’s new organizational chart,” identifying Andriacchi as a reported longtime lieutenant of Chicago Outfit kingpin John DiFronzo.
After the conclusion of the “Family Secrets” trial in Chicago in 2007, which sent multiple high-ranking members of the Chicago Outfit to prison for long sentences, Andriacchi was again identified in Chicago newspapers as being a powerful member of the Chicago Outfit. “Reputed mobsters not charged in the Family Secrets case who are still powerful in the Outfit include John “No Nose” DiFronzo, Joe “The Builder” Andriacchi, Al Tornabene (Now deceased, 2009), Frank “Tootsie Babe” Caruso, Marco D’Amico and Michael Sarno, law enforcement sources said,” the Chicago Sun-Times wrote on September 11, 2007. On September 30, 2007, the Chicago Tribune reported that law enforcement sources indicated that Andriacchi controls Chicago’s north side and north suburbs, and that he leads the Elmwood Park crew.
This is a very good read about the crew Salvatore "Solly D" DeLaurentis came up in, and went down with under Rocco " Rocky" Infelise.

Here are a couple of articles by Burnstein and his take on the leadership of the outfit and gives backgrounds of some of the people talked about Antiliar, Snakes, and Pete.

Better to have Chuckie English as a Father (Which was a Prank at GGB Forum because I hated that place years ago) than have a mean, physically abusive Bastard Father like you who you met at 9 years old for the first time and put lumps on your head.

Chicago, please use the graveyard section for comments like that. Let´s keep this thread clean. I don´t see Chris´ post being warranted a comment like that. After all, you did claim to be the son of Chuckie English which fooled a lot of posters.Chicago wrote:Chris Christie wrote:Yeah but that's when his pops was Chuckie English (or was it Joe Lombardi?) Seriously? On GBB? How many years ago? I never heard that before. Anyhow, none of my business. Let's move on.
