its him. If I am not mistaken Vincent is his middle name...or Sebastian is his middle name and his family uses it...I am not sure. But its him. And as far as being broke...its horseshit. He lived in a 4500 sq home and paid $20k taxes a yr. He is well known for disappearing or claiming he is broke when people have their hands out. But he is a little old man who has been around forever. Is Ligambi gonna whack an old man for not paying up? Prob not. Make fun of him...hell yeah lol Beeps has more wealth then Ligambi probably. Here is Beeps house. Make Ligambi's little row home look like a shithole https://www.realtor.com/realestateandho ... 177#photo3

Shrimp Beeps huh? You think the Belmont is worth taking a trip from the city? I think because of COVID restrictions they are actually taking reservations now
I go there from Brooklyn all the time but I usually get the chicken savoy, it's def worth the trip. Not many places like that still around.
I haven't been able to muster up the energy to drive out there, potentially have to deal with waiting for a table, all of that shit...but now with COVID they're taking reservations so I think it's on the horizon for me. Instead of actually going out there though, what I was able to do is describe what the Savoy is supposed to be (and also found a janky recipe online) and have my wife re-create it for me  still haven't had the 'real' thing tho
Worth the trip. God willing places like this stay around forever.

You know it ! I am ``100% sure this is beeps. Especially since one of his sons names was Vincent which would be the reason that the family called him Sebastian(either a nickname or his middle name etc). My uncles knew him.. I have seen pics of him decades ago. I was brought as kid to the Belmonte tavern dozens of times. My family is from downneck. After the Newark riots family went north to Belleville and Forest Lakes section of Newark..the other half(me) went south to Union County. Hillside, Elizabeth and Union. His wife's name matches up with the property where he lives. I have no doubt this is him.
Side note: half of my family who have passed have been waked at Galante's on Morris ave. I attended one Wake not knowing Larry Ricci was rotting in the trunk of car across the street behind the Huck Finn Diner ! lol

Pre-deceased by 3 sons? That's awful. Any idea what happened?

That could be it. Though I can't find anything where Centorino is refered to as Sebastiano. Maybe he changed his name at some point or it could his middle name like Rocco said. However the BOP does not list that as his middle name but they don't always do so. Who knows.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

If you are Italian and you have a son with the same name as you..someone is getting a nickname or they are using your middle name. lol But its 100% him. I have known where his house is for the last 20plus yrs. His wife's name is on the deed to the home. Obit lists his wifes name. There not two of them in the same town. I have seen a pick of him when he was in his 50s yrs ago. The pic looks very much like him (older and more frail of course). And I am almost 99% certain that Shrimp Dish is named after him as well. He was a regular there in the 60s and early 70s when he lived in Newark. He moved to Bernardsville where his kids went to HS and then later out to Hunterdon County where he lived when he died. His wife is like 20yrs younger...and sounds like he had girlfriend in FL according to Ligambi's stories at the dinner. lol

Pogo The Clown wrote: Mon Mar 15, 2021 8:01 pm To add some more confusion an article from April 3, 2001 lists his age as 60.

Pogo
Another article from 2012 lists him at 78 at the time. the wiretape they are talking about is from 2010 so if they are saying he was 78 in 2010 its on pt with 89

That North Jersey Philly crew aren’t brokesters, Scoops lives in a house that’s a cunt hair under a Million as well and also has a shore house in Toms River. Fazzini lives out in Caldwell which isn’t cheap. That crew made some money .

I think that might be Lou's wife's house she has a pretty decent job from what I hear. I don't think Lou is anywhere near Scoops as far as investments go. But Scoops is a multi millionaire. Really doesn't even need to be bothered with LCN. He has or still does own at least a dozen properties from rentals in Irvington , the shore home. Property in Neptune. A 1.5mil condo in Hoboken(maybe for one of his kids ?) his home in Florham park. etc Guy has been worth millions in real estate for at least 3 decades. The guy could have retired 3 decades ago.

This has got me thinking about the North Jersey crew more in general. With Centorino now dead and Servidio in jail that leaves just Licata, Fazzini and Olivieri on the street. Possibly Vito Malgeri too if they followed through and decided to put him up for one of the ceremonies that took place over the past 10 years.

It also seems pretty nuts that we haven't found evidence to suggest that anyone was inducted into the crew from 1990 to circa 2007 when Fazzini got made. Almost as long as the books were closed for in New York after Apalachin. Though we also know that Pete Caprio at least wanted to make Daniel D'Ambrosia and Raymond LePore during that time. And he turned Natale down when he asked if he wanted to put Phil Casale up.

It's a pretty sudden drop off, especially considering they made so many people from 1981 to 1990 that they split the crew into two.

Seems like it's been a very small crew for a while now. And wasn't Servidio answering to Dominic Grande?

Servidio was still under North Jersey. His 2018 indictment mentions how he had to get permission from his captain (Licata) to work with Persiano because he was from Grande's crew
