It just makes sense with Calabrians influence expanding all over the world that they would eventually look to expand in NY. Very interesting about wanting to set up a coke pipeline to NY

The coke pipeline was the thing they were looking at with the Ursino/Zappia etc in Operation New Bridge and Operation Columbus too...I don't think there is any way to 'change' the 5 families into a Calabrian regime but certainly they can work within the rankings, wouldn't be the first time!

I was more implying that they have new possible business partners with liquidity , networks/ businesses and a similar way of life.
Also interesting she has them working more with Westside and Gambinos who have a lot of the say on local mob politics / business .
I’m very impressed with her way of thinking. I do think the Calabrians are just getting started with their NY expansion. It’s the next logical move.
Isn’t the Westside more Calabrian then Sicilian compared with other families ?

Calabrian International expansion seems to start with Restaurants then money laundering / drug trafficking + reinvesting.
I would suspect they are still small in NY but who really knows , they seem capable of flooding NYC with coke when the time is right.

It seems the majority of 'Ndrangheta/NY LCN cooperation, at least so far, has been brokering drugs for shipment to Europe. Not to New York or elsewhere in the U.S.

But I have not seen anything in NY (unless we consider the Niagara part...)
