What comes to my mind, besides anything Mafia related is, and Im not being soft on crime, is the waste of money by the government to house and take care of these inmates that are nearing death.

shit is a vendetta. i doubt any of the gotti's would ever get compassionate release regardless of circumstances, kinda like bobby manna. all part of the game though, everyone plays dirty.
