Did Peter Tuccio really torch a car for 400 bucks annual payment?
It seems pretty low to me for annual ,even though it was 400 a month, it's still low and the funny thing is he did that job for a capo in Gambino Family. I know they collect money from numerous businesses but still, you gotta be down bad to get 400 bucks from someone as a capo.

It depends how you look at it. I don’t know what the payment was for but if it’s a vig and I got ten guys paying me a hundred a week you can do the math. It’s not the money to these guys , it’s the principle. If you owe someone money and you’re not paying you’re gonna have these guys out of their minds and ready to smash you. Keep in mind these guys are living in a different century.

I know but torching a mercedes for not paying 400 bucks annual is something else man. I would understand if it was 400 a week but for a year, c'mon!BobbyPazzo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:05 pm It depends how you look at it. Even though these guys are living in different century, you shouldn't be that dump to give away 10 years of your life for 400 bucks after being on house arrest for 3 years. Imagine going to prison after not leaving your house for 3 years. It just doesn't make any sense.

Yeah the torching part really screwed them. They could have gotten the same message across if they had just smashed the car. They likely would not have gotten cought and if they were they wouldn't have gotten as much time without the arson charge.it was just stupid.

I agree with you Pogo. It was a plain stupid move. Such a young guy, sadly he's going to waste his 30s in prison but he's chosen that life.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:22 pm Yeah the torching part really screwed them. I think using and manipulating is mafia 101 - these guys are predators. They see weak people like Tuccio and simply use them. His uncle should have gone after that Capo who hired him to do that over $400.
I think there are generations of guys who were once wannabes who did stupid shit and got caught and despite keeping their mouths shut, stayed broke and never went anywhere in the mob. Fish among sharks.

Well its mostly the money. They dont have the right to just extort anyone. Therefore the point of “principle” is moot.

Please don’t confuse me saying “it’s the principle” with me condoning their behavior. They do what they want. That’s it. The way they see it is that you owe Money, you didn’t pay, they won’t allow themselves to look like they’re being disrespected or worse that they are an easy mark, so they act irrationally to prove a point. If that doesn’t make sense to you then I don’t know what to tell you. No disrespect but this is why I don’t post much on here anymore. Everyone knows better and has something to say. I give my two cents here and there because I’ve been around a little bit and I’ve seen how these guys operate. Some people want this to make sense but it won’t makes sense to a sensible person because guys in the life are on another planet and do outrageous shit. But you got it pal. Stay safe. God bless.Extortion wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 3:44 pmWell its mostly the money. They dont have the right to just extort anyone. Therefore the point of “principle” is moot.

Bonanno soldier Jack Bonventre was caught on a wiretap saying that if someone owes you a couple thousand dollars, it's better to just forgive the debt than to go after them and risk having them run to law enforcement.

I thought the same when reading this. Like $400 a year is literally nothing. I get what thevother guy said about the principle but still $400 a year!! Why torch a car when there probably were less risky alternatives but either way one else shitbag on the street

It’s retarded. You’re right. We’re not dealing with a bunch of geniuses here for the most part. Of course there’s an exception with a few guys who are smart and know when it’s time to make a point and time to walk away but obviously this wasn’t that. It just doesn’t surprise me because I’ve met guys who have more money than God but would chase you down for fifty bucks. Them old timers had a package but would cry poverty. Then there’s guys who are broke and are just maniacs. Also someone said crash dummies. That’s exactly it too. Guys know these young guys glorify the life like it’s the fucking Godfather when it’s far from it and no one would piss on you if you were on fire. They use that to their advantage and that’s where a young kid does some shit to be down and gets a dime in the feds for it.OcSleeper wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 5:36 pm I thought the same when reading this. These guys would take 40 cents off you a month if it came to that it's a power trip as much as it's about money and sometimes more so.
