So Sammy says in his latest video that the 200 figure came from DeMeo himself while boasting. Says that they killed random blacks and Puerto Ricans just for practice. If that's true, than it could definitely be higher than 75.

Roy DeMeo had a reputation that was recognized by Big Paul, that he was a deranged person. So he refused to have him made for years. Big Paul eventually caved and had DeMeo made because of the amount of money he was making.

Wasn’t Murder Inc a hit squad for All the five families, if so, sure. But DeMeo’s body count will never be known because people like Montiglio, and Arena weren’t around for the whole 8 years the crew was active. Montiglio disappeared around 79-82 no? Imagine the guys they whacked & didn’t tell him about. The twins would give even more numbers because they were there, but we all know that’ll never happen.

Montiglio went on the run December 79 and it didn’t return until 83 after Roy was dead. Somebody has posted a list of all the Demeo victims they know of but it’s impossible we will ever know. Some people claim up to 200 but I doubt the number is that high. I always felt the 75 range is more accurate

Bo Dietl has a podcast and he had these guys on a couple years ago that were in the process of making a TV show about the DeMeo Crew. They said they thought the DeMeo crew body count was closer to 800 than 200. Which just seems fucking crazy.

How many people the crew killed is irrelevant,if your going to go by the crew the the larger picture would be the owner of those murders was really Paul Castellano because he was the boss at the time.It should just be individual murder nurmbers.And 800 is fucking ludicrous not even cells which are the equivalant of crews of the Zetas cartels would of had a body count like that

Castellano didnt authorize everything. Roy ordered the murders, castellano authorized them but not all...which is one reason roy died

Paul Castellano never really liked Roy. He felt he was uncontrollable. But because Demeo was such a big earner and provided muscle for Paul when he needed it. But by 1981-82 Demeo’s lucrative stolen car ring was basically seized by the Feds and Paul was afraid that Demeo would implicate him or Become an informer. So Paul decided it was best yo get rid of him. Nino Gaggi got the order directly from Paul Castellano and then he either handed it off to the twins or helped them out with it. I've read in the end Demeo knew he was marked for death and refused government help to avoid him dying. They found him in the trunk of his car frozen stiff with gun shots thru his hands which gun victims often throw their hands up in a vain attempt to ward off the shots.
