Sammy gravano podcast
Apparently there was hit put out on Gigante by gotti sr after the car bombing, never heard that one before any thoughts?
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
They waited along time... IMO the luchese family was more complicit
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
Sounds like he's rewriting history. Also left out the part where Jimmy brown walked over to the car all scared and sammy said get ourra here or whatever bullshit he said in his book. There was obviously bad blood between brown and sammy. Brown even wanted to kill Sammy's crew after he flipped and Gotti sr said no
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
It's ok listen though. He needs to drop more names. Who was at the club ect
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
It’s not bad.... interesting enough to listen to... he’s a true sociopath though.. like some guys you can fully call bullshit and tell that they’re lying and exaggerating about almost everything they say... Sammy on the other hand is a lot harder to read when it comes to that shit...like you can’t tell if he’s telling the exact truth, or he’s fully embellishing most of the stories to put himself in a more positive light..
The one thing I think he has always lied about, which casso also stated... was that Sammy was in some way involved in the drug business back in the day... I know casso is a straight lunatic, but why lie about that??? It was after Sammy already got his deal... and yeah, crime is crime, but at the same time you can’t never sell drugs in your life and then all the sudden run an enormously successful organized ecstasy ring.... that would be like a life time drug dealer who’s never placed a bet, or ever had a quarter sheet, and all the sudden he’s running a huge sports book.... it just doesn’t work like that...

This.
He’s out of material. Walking the path of every cooperator trying to make a business out of their past: tell what happened, embellish/exaggerate then finally make shit up.
If Gotti had hit Chin, to quote JSack, the Westside would’ve rained down a shit storm on the Gambinos the likes you’ve never seen. Suicide mission.

Didn’t the Gambinos have more shooters than the westside? Correct me if I’m wrong.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:25 pmThis.

I do vaguely recall reading about them wanting to whack Gigante and then backing Allie Malangone to replace him. Obviously it never got off the ground.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

That is another interesting subject, whether or not he was involved with drugs back then. He certainty hasn’t spoken about the xtc ring in Arizona.chubby wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 11:00 am It’s not bad.... interesting enough to listen to... he’s a true sociopath though.. like some guys you can fully call bullshit and tell that they’re lying and exaggerating about almost everything they say... Yeah I remember reading there was some consideration about hitting Chin, Mario and Baldy Dom.

No interest in debating a theoretical 80’s Westside vs Gambino war scenario but to hit Chin IMO, would’ve been suicide.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:42 pmDidn’t the Gambinos have more shooters than the westside? Correct me if I’m wrong.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑This.

Re: Sammy gravano podcast
so the gottis let chin kill three guys underboss a captain and an acting captain and sammy was going to kill chin..what were they waiting a sign from carlo
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
That’s what I’m saying... it’s even more suspect that he avoids that topic like the plague... he’s never once spoken on the ecstasy ring/his drug days in witsec... makes me believe that he really did dabble in drugs before he flipped.. I mean he will talk about killing and killing but not about selling some pills...Jasonsp wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 1:46 pmThat is another interesting subject, whether or not he was involved with drugs back then. they claim that was a big part in why they took cassos cooperation agreement away... cause they already had Sammy testify and say things one way.. then casso came in and supposedly was saying a lot of shit that contradicted Sammy.... so the fbi could not have that obviously... it would make them look so bad and basically ruin all the convictions and shit they got from Sammy testifying if another underboss/acting boss has conflicting testimony...
Re: Sammy gravano podcast
The podcast was decent. I don’t believe the whole Gigante murder plot. I mean Decicco, Lino, and Boriello were killed without any retaliation. As for the podcast my favorite part was George Gabriel. After he arrested him Gotti was acting very arrogant in the car until Gabriel said “You know you really shouldn’t have talked so much in Nrs Cirelli’s apartment”. Gotti immediately shut up
