Il Cortile opened in September 1975 and before that was a bedding shop. Franzese and Cafaro say new members were getting in by 1974 or 1975, but Franzese's Halloween 1975 date has been disproven and someone found out that a restaurant Cafaro referenced in his 1974 induction wasn't opened until 1976.
