I'll give John and Gene credit for getting some good ones...Arilotta, Rubeo, DiDonato, Kenji, etc. Other guests, not so much.
All roads lead to New York.
Re: You know you made it big when...
Gene did an hour long Q&A on his Instagram yesterday, and he mentioned Larry Mazza and Jimmy Calandra as two people they talk to regularly and will likely come on soon.

Re: You know you made it big when...
Did anyone see Franzese’s video this week he made about the last iteration of the Colombo war?
I’m not as well versed in Colombo Family history so I don’t know how much of this is fact and how much is exaggeration. A brief summary.....
Franzese said while he and Junior were locked up at MDC Brooklyn, Junior asked him what he thought about Vic Orena. This was prior to Orena being named acting boss. But at the time Franzese didn’t know why Junior asked him about Orena.
After being locked up for a year or 2, and after the war started, Franzese said both his dad and Junior got word to him to ask him where he stood in terms of the 2 factions. He said he got word thru a CO to Junior that he was loyal to him.
Franzese then said after he got out the first time, after doing a little over 3 years, that he was planning to go back to NYC and join the Persico faction. He said it was a really hard decision that was eating at him, but he said his father was really pressuring him and he decided to go back to NYC and get back in the mix. He said right as he was about to go back, he got violated and sent back to prison. And by the time he got out the next time, some 4 years later, the war was over and he was able to make a clean break from “the life”.
He acknowledges that it sounds kinda convenient that right when he decided to get back in the life, he got violated, but he swears he’s telling the truth.
