"Thirst for the truth and a hunger for justice."

 Good God that is gold. And nothing says that like Hillary Clinton laughing on tape knowing her client is guilty of viciously raping a 12 year old girl and then going into court and attacking the victim to try to get the child rapist off. Or when all the big lawyer groups fought tooth and nail to prevent the passage of Jessica's Law which would make 20 year minimums mandatory for child rapists. Then again that would interfere with their money as it would greatly reduce their repeat business so I can see why your ilk would be agsinst it.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

billy is a great guy, always has been. genuinely good guy- non violent, a little cocky and wacky- but not a bad guy by any stretch

Whats will all the vitriol and invective toward defense lawyers? what a silly blanket statement. Do you know any attorneys that litigate as defense attorneys?
Q: What doesn't work when it's fixed?
A: A jury!

You can criticize defense lawyers all you want—and they probably deserve it to some extent. But where would we be without a criminal justice system that allows people to not only refute any charges brought against them, but also to hire a legal expert to represent them? The only alternative would be to have a system similar to North Korea, where the government accuses you of a crime, and you are hauled off to be executed or forced to do hard labor for twenty years.

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha. I don't know Bill Jr. but willing to wager he couldn't crack an egg.
Not to be mean but there’s no way in hell he was sitting on allies house waiting to hit him... I’m sure he thought about that situation daily and dreamed about it... but there’s no way that happened.. little Allie boy is a stone cold fucking gangster..
I’ve always been curious about this... does anyone know of any hits that little Allie boy did???
I’ve heard he clipped some people and with his reputation I feel like he had to have done work.. he didn’t strike me as one to ride off his fathers name when it came to having balls in the street.

So we need lawyers to protect us from charges brought by other lawyers under laws created by even more lawyers? How is that any different from what the mob does. Like having to pay Fat Paulie protection money to keep Vinny Vicious from breaking your windows and kneecapping you for not paying him protection money.

I doubt it. Pistone quotes a Colombo guy saying that Little Allie Boy never did any work and was just a wise ass punk who only got made because of his dad.

So we shouldn't have any laws then? I doubt you feel that way when they catch a Black guy jaywalking and try to use those laws to put him away for twenty years.

Never said anything of the kind. But there are millions of little pissant laws and regulations whose sole purpose for existing is only to trip up normal people and generate large amounts of money for lawyers. What should happen is that lawyers as a profession should be abolished (that goes for all sides of the legal charade). Same with politicians. Anyone who engages in law or politics would do it part time and as part of their civic duty while working a normal job. That would immediately cut out all of the corruption and elitism that comes from those professions.
