Danish Health Club Until 2005 in Kittery ME. Machine gun shooting in restaurant that became the seagull diner Mid 80s also kittery .Billy Angelesco arrested at his house in Scarborough last year. All I really can think of in Maine. The first two I’m privy to because it’s my hometown. Never really hear anything about LCN in the modern day though. Guy who ran the danish was named Leo Manzoli. He died early 2000s. Feds raided club in 05.
Anyone have any interesting LCN anecdotes or rackets in Maine or NH in the modern era?

If I'm not mistaken NE member Orlando "Mickey Naples" Napolitano was active in Maine.

Just a follow up..manzoli was busted by the FBI for bribery of a Massachusetts politician over strip club permits for route 1 in Peabody/Saugus and the story goes paid off local law enforcement here for years over selling guns and protection for the Danish.

I grew up in Kittery and the big thing in town was an openly operating brothel called the Danish Health Club. Everyone knew the mob ran it. Kittery is about 40 minutes from Boston.

Maine and Vermont dont Really have anything and I grew up in VT. If anything Rizzutos might pass through VT for drugs. Maine I mean...if anything its along the coast near portland which is only a city of 60k
