I think it's moreso that Merlino thinks that he can make money off Tuccio. Remember Stanley Stein? The rich Florida lawyer who bankrolled Merlino’s restaurant? When was the last time you saw that guy in a picture with Merlino....

I’m not sure. Tuccio is what 27? What’s he got going on. He was running arson gigs not sophisticated high end rackets.
I can’t see he has the capacity, age or experience to be able to buy his way into Merlino’s inner circle.

Who knows what Tuccio has going on, but I see your point. I give Merlino more credit, I assume he's not hanging out with a 27 year old guy just for the sake of it.

Who can judge somebody based on what he looks like on a picture? Somebody who looks like a pussy on some picture could be a capable guy in real life,

Maybe he took somebody's eye out just yesterday, maybe he sat alone in the dark watching Frasier re-runs.
Maybe he's a great earner, maybe not.
It may have started as a favor to NY and maybe he made a impression.

Point is, you cant judge anyone from pictures. Jezus Borgesi looks like he should be in a special housing unit but apparantly he's a stone cold killer and capo.

I just see his age and charges mean it’s likely he’s not a huge earner. And he’s got obviously ‘close’ with skinny Joey. So there is a story there. Question is what.

My guess his uncles involved somehow. Possibly through Jersey. Who knows. Be great if it comes out at trial.
