I dont think her allergic reaction is made up. But if you read the stories, one news article says it's from ice cream the other says peanut butter filled pretzel. But they could be speaking to different family members and they can say different things. Not necessarily a lie.

One does have to wonder where they get their income. What you'll likely see in what's left in Detroit is guys who are either basically legit or retired. Even nearly 25 years ago, during the GamTax case, it was the standard gambling, loansharking, and extortion rackets.
