Boss of Gambino
So who do you think the BOSS of the Gambino’s is now a days ? It’s obviously not Peter Gotti . Is it Cefalu or is he just the street boss? Same with Mannino ? Maybe Corozzo with a acting boss sitting in ?
Maybe a ruling panel of bosses again ?

Re: Boss of Gambino
Peter Gotti is still the official boss. He's a figurehead of course, but he holds the title.
Re: Boss of Gambino
Can’t he be deposed or they just don’t care enough to do it?
I agree with phat,I love those old fucks and he's right.we all got some cosa nostra in us.I personnely love the life.I think we on the forum would be the ultimate crew! - camerono

Petter gotti is not the boss anymore

Re: Boss of Gambino
They don't want to depose him. If they wanted to replace him there would be nothing he could do about it. He's in prison, in bad health, and doesn't actually run the Gambino Family. From what I understand it's basically tradition to keep someone in their spot until death as long as they don't rat. Plus by keeping him boss it theoretically reduces the heat on everyone else.
Re: Boss of Gambino
Last concrete info we got from Capeci is Pete Gotti still the official boss in name only, Cefalu is acting Boss, Mannino was not given a title but is confirmed to be admin and Paradiso as consigliere.Mikeymike12 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 7:17 pm So who do you think the BOSS of the Gambino’s is now a days ? It's worth noting though in February Capeci said this
In 2011, Domenico, now 73, was named acting boss, a position that some sources say is now held by fellow Sicilian-faction wiseguy, Lorenzo Mannino.

Gang Land's sources waffle on the specific ranks of Cefalu, whom the FBI has carried as the family's acting boss since 2011, and Mannino, who has been identified by the feds in recent court filings only as a "powerful capo." Some law enforcers say Cefalu is still the boss, but others say Mannino is the real leader right now, even if he doesn't have the official title.

Re: Boss of Gambino
Lorenzo mannino has been in high standing since John Gambino died.
Wasn't there some articles saying Cefalu wanted to step back??? That MIGHT have been the articles claiming that Frank Cali was stepping in for him tho... Which later was found to be false.
