Most of these articles are lifted from court papers and dumbed down for the reader. Especially out in Massachusetts, I doubt the journalist who wrote the article had even heard of Danny Leo. I think you have to make a lot of mental leaps to argue that the Leo reference came from anywhere but Rubeo/the feds. I highly doubt that this was some sort of guess from the guy who wrote the article.
