Re: Danny Leo
Yeah I think gohn is right... Leo's name is never mentioned in the transcript but thats who the government say they're talking about. Like I said he could've been street boss or even underboss at that time. Bellomo has had a few trusted leaders like DiChiara who Capeci said was his street boss in 2016 or Muscarella who Gambino soldier Vincent Fiore identified as the underboss only six months ago. With how West side operate I bet they switch things up often. Nothing is black and white with them especially nowadays.
Re: Danny Leo
Sal Vitale testified to that effect, when discussing the 1996 meeting to re-organize the Colombos.JohnnyS wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 2:19 am Yeah I think gohn is right... Re: Danny Leo
Agree. Masslive wouldn't know who mass live is that came from reports or somewhere. That's why it stuck in my head for awhile. Also there was angelo prisco recordings from like 2005 that he would support barney for boss over leo. So
Re: Danny Leo
Im sure it was Vitale who said they had a new boss every weekgohnjotti wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 3:38 amSal Vitale testified to that effect, when discussing the 1996 meeting to re-organize the Colombos.JohnnyS wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 2:19 am Yeah I think gohn is right... Re: Danny Leo
Yeah, it’s a tricky one.
WHO’s drawing the conclusion its Leo though? It’s not stated, not even a remote reference yet SOMEONE is concluding its based on Leo.
The who and why are critically important.
I’m still suspicious tbh until we know more.
IIRC this was under Bellomo’s known tenure so I’m not sure it fits the timeline. Perhaps I’m wrong on that point.
Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.
Re: Danny Leo
By the way, where can I find that particular Prisco convo or even the transcripts? All the Prisco wiretapped stuff doesn't get into barney or leo or any of that, other than "one of the guys im going to see, I've known forever in fact I put him into this thing" or something.
Re: Danny Leo
Most of these articles are lifted from court papers and dumbed down for the reader. Especially out in Massachusetts, I doubt the journalist who wrote the article had even heard of Danny Leo. I think you have to make a lot of mental leaps to argue that the Leo reference came from anywhere but Rubeo/the feds. I highly doubt that this was some sort of guess from the guy who wrote the article.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:01 amYeah, it’s a tricky one.

Re: Danny Leo
He this mentioning of Leo was provided with the transcripts in court then surely it came from the feds debriefing of Rubeo
