I agree. I never believed what he said that he was offered boss when he was just a soldier and turned it down and said give it to VicJCB1977 wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 1:26 pmAnd Casso is one of the least credible sources in the history of the mafia

Honestly, The Whole set up hit in a fancy hotel room seems pretty far fetched to me... first off all the highest ranking members of the family were present , I double they would want to be present for a murder. 2nd... it’s a hotel.. you’re telling me neighbors in rooms next door or across the hall wouldn’t hear the gun shots??? Even if it was a suppressed pistol, they’re still louder than peiple think.. and lastly .. what were they going to do with his body ?? Walk him out propped up like weekend and Bernie’s ? Or just leave him laying dead in the hotel m... which would provably trace right back to one of the guys who rented the room... I really don’t think they were going to hit darco that day.... but I fully understand his massive paranoia and I’m shocked he even entered the room in the first place!!!

Re: Big Mike Desantis-Lucchese Boss
cant imagine it was a hit, made no sense in the hotel, but lets say it was and D’Arco was right...by that point casso could have been out of the loop and really had no idea they were going to hit him. could have been an attempt by Lastorino to take over. next time hes on the phone with casso it could be “we went to the hotel to meet Al, and he never showed” - from the Lino and Testa hit, and the alleged plans to kill Crea, Junior Gotti, and a couple other people, you cant put it past Lastorino
basically im saying Casso probably isnt lying. he himself, literally, did not have plans to kill Al. but the guys on the street could have (although again, in that hotel, i doubt it. it makes no sense...but these guys have done crazier shit so who knows)
Re: Big Mike Desantis-Lucchese Boss
He couldn't testify, he was deemed not credible for lying to the FBI in debriefings. D'Arco and Burt Kaplan were the key witnesses who testified against the cops, although D'Arco corroborated some of what Casso said. The Feds did not find him credible regarding Sammy. Sammy was later indicted and pled guilty to ecstasy trafficking. Casso didn't testify. Many informants feed shit to the Feds and give them accurate info on guys they have a personal vendetta against.Fughedaboutit wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 5:11 pmIs he?
