He was previously investigated after I sent the cold case squad a file with evidence I found implying he might have been involved. Whether he's currently being investigated, or is any kind of suspect now, I don't know. I received a tip to look into his possible involvement in June, 2017, and when I did I found a bunch of dots that connected. I sent the investigators the file I collected in early 2018. I'm going to publish a redacted version of it soon because Capeci makes it sound like it was some goofball investigation. It was not. There were a bunch of coincidences and I can tell you the investigators took it seriously. But again, I don't know if they still have his picture on a board. It was a while ago. I mean maybe they cleared him but how many times do you see those murder documentaries on TV when they have a suspect, and it changes, and changes back?
All I know for sure is that his kid believed he did it, and was willing to tell me that. Alite definitely fit the profile.

There's male DNA in the Foglia murder. They've had it in the national CODIS database for some time, and expanded it to familial searches. Maybe they'll get luck at some point.

i gotta give capeci the benefit of the doubt here. there had to have been literally nothing going on for him to write about these people. id like to think if madonna were confirmed dead, he’d have done one, possibly two, articles about it.

I have questioned it and received no answers other than a link to a thread listing him as deceased. For people in that forum to rely on FBI info to list him as deceased based on what is out there is ridiculous.

yeah i hear ya, id like to know where that rumor started and if there is some truth behind it. i know info doesnt always move fast but id like to think if he passed, we’d have it sourced for real. Madonna isnt really a household name but the Post and/or the DN would have a “mob boss succumbs to covid” article about him for sure, if it were true
