Accardo almost put a hit on Balisteri
Been listening to this new podcast and I deff enjoy it.
Never have heard of this:
New info from retired FBI says Accardo was going to hit Balisteri in 1961 over a murder of a nightclub owner.
The reason Balasreri was saved is he had a high ranking cuzin in KC . Who was the cousin?

One of the FBI files I've read over the years was that Frankie was under Chicago's thumb I thought? Or might have been something our Chicago experts posted I forget.
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....
Re: Accardo almost put a hit on Balisteri
I saw an FBI file somewhere that basically said around 1952 Milwaukee was having some sort of issue that needed sorting out and asked Chicago to come in an settle the internal dispute and that's where Chicago basically said that Milwaukee would now be directly under them.dixiemafia wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 11:59 am One of the FBI files I've read over the years was that Frankie was under Chicago's thumb I thought? What does "directly under them mean"? If you mean that Chicago represented Milwaukee on the Commission then I would agree.cavita wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:09 pmI saw an FBI file somewhere that basically said around 1952 Milwaukee was having some sort of issue that needed sorting out and asked Chicago to come in an settle the internal dispute and that's where Chicago basically said that Milwaukee would now be directly under them.dixiemafia wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 11:59 am One of the FBI files I've read over the years was that Frankie was under Chicago's thumb I thought? Besides the example with Accardo, theres also another one in which Giancana allegedly also got mad at Balistrieri for doing some deal with Bonanno without reporting it or something like that...i dont really rememberConfederate wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:36 pmWhat does "directly under them mean"? I meant that to be that Milwaukee was directly answerable to Chicago after 1952 rather than be autonomous as they were before that.Confederate wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:36 pmWhat does "directly under them mean"? Re: Accardo almost put a hit on Balisteri
The point is that besides Milwaukee being under Chicago, still Balistrieri obviously did more than few things on his own

That Marry Ferrell Document said Giancana was Neapolitan. That was incorrect, he was Sicilian like Accardo.Villain wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:59 pmhttps://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... _milwaukeecavita wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:54 pmI meant that to be that Milwaukee was directly answerable to Chicago after 1952 rather than be autonomous as they were before that.Confederate wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:36 pmWhat does "directly under them mean"? Milwaukee received part of the skim from Las Vegas.

Re: Accardo almost put a hit on Balisteri
Thats right. Thats one mistake regarding Giancana but still everything else is in place. Milwaukee kicked up to Chicago and there are many examples with Alderisio and Battaglia. Chicago received larger share from the Vegas proceedings while Milwaukee, KC etc. received smaller shares

I dont know if Cavita will agree with me on this but theres a possibility that sometimes or during some period Chicago also represented Rockford's interests on the round table, but still they operated independently besides having some mutual operations such as gambling, car theft or counterfeiting

Can Antillar shed any light on this claim?
"I figure I’m gonna have to do about 6000 years before I get accepted into heaven. And 6000 years is nothing in eternity terms. I can do that standing on my head. It’s like a couple of days here."

I agree 100% on this. I found it interesting as well that when Appalachin went down in November 1957 that Rockford asked Frank Zito from Springfield, Illinois to represent their interests at the mafia summit because boss Tony Musso was dying of cancer. Zito, of course, was one of those caught in the dragnet.Villain wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 2:44 pm I dont know if Cavita will agree with me on this but theres a possibility that sometimes or during some period Chicago also represented Rockford's interests on the round table, but still they operated independently besides having some mutual operations such as gambling, car theft or counterfeiting
