Joey's Mom must be Abruzzese which makes sense because I can recall the menu of Joey's restaurant were his Moms Abruzzese recipes if I am properly recalling correctly when I went through the menu at Merlino's in Boca Raton.

Thanks Chin. Has anyone been able to note who the friend in high places Pete Casella had in the Genovese, that helped spare his life?
Also here is Robert DeGeorge, 1967 murder victim

Re: Joseph 'Chickie' Ciancaglini
I think, that genovese’s spared his live, because he served time in Atlanta with Vito Genovese. I also Think that he was a busines partner in drug business with Vito. Just add my two cents.richard_belding wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 9:15 am Thanks Chin. Is Gigante served time for drugs in Atlanta too? Maybe from this Casella so lucky to take Genovese’s good relationship

Incredible write up, great work! I learned quite a bit from this. Interesting to see some of these names that I've read about - McGreal, Turra, the infamous "Irishman" - intersecting back in the 60s. And lol at at that pic of Chickie with his sons.

Great write up!
Re: Joseph 'Chickie' Ciancaglini
Great write up. It's amazing him and some of those other Philly members survived their long prison sentences. It reminds me of the one season of the Sopranos when many of the older members were released from prison. Steve Buscemi and Robert Loggia haha.
