Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
I don't believe Vastola was made at that time. DeCavalcante didn't mind dealing with him directly and Vastola was also close to Funzi Tieri, but I am almost sure he was still an associate.
I believe Umberto and his brother Angelo Gallo were made at the time.. both were with Frank Cocchiaro. I figure James Gallo is related, as he was another NY member like the older Gallos.
Stefano Vitabile easily could have been made already. His father Pietro was probably a Ribera soldier who transferred over and Stefano was already well-known in Elizabeth by this time.
I saw something indicating Rudy Farone might have already been made but it wasn't completely clear.

Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
Is it possible to break the crews down further or not enough info?
Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
Jimmy Gallo was born and raised in Red Hook so if you can somehow trace these others to the Red Hook area maybe they are related. But Jimmy was also around the Gambino before getting made into the Decavs.B. wrote:I don't believe Vastola was made at that time. Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
Thanks, you want it designed Valachi or LA chart style?
Valachi style:

LA style:

Can you assist me with photos (I'll go through the pics you posted before I start flooding your pm inbox)?
Given the project you're working on. I'll list a copyright next to your name. Like I'm doing for Chicago.

The Problem I have is many of the "old" members I don't have photos for. Go through my photos and let me know which ones you don't have and we'll hunt them down.

James, check your email. It's a start.
If you want, when it's finished, you can show it to your 'source.'
With the Chicago Chart, Rick sent it to Fosco who's sending to Magnafichi. Doesn't get much better having a former assoc and a former acting captain- both second generation affiliates- look over and correct shit.
