Grand avenue surveillance?

Post by Moscone65 »

https://gangsterreport.com/mob-hot-spot ... -westside/

Supposedly there was a murder (99% chance not mob related) outside of the grand avenues crew hangout in Chicago. Supposedly the feds were watching it at the time. Seems like they still have a hard on for getting Vena. Can anyone provide any more insight or backup the article?

I see that this is the story your referring to. In this article it discusses how the staff at Richards Bar are refusing to speak to cops about the murder...

My bad about the link. If anyone knowledgeable about Chicago knows anything it would be interesting to hear.

The link was actually to an article on the gangster report blog, but it doesn’t let me post it here. That blog said the feds were supposedly surveilling the bar when the murder happened

Did you notice how the article called Richard's Bar a "Dive" about 3 times? From looking at the outside and based upon the story of the Mexican getting stabbed, it looks like a dive shithole to me. As far as the Detectives getting a cut from gambling, You must be thinking of New York because besides the Outfit having one foot in the grave already, The Grand Avenue guys that are left are 2nd story men (Robbers). lol

Richards is a great 'dive' bar. Lots of character and characters with funny enough, lots of mob movie posters and photos of Capone, etc ion the walls. It's really popular.

There is nothing wrong with Richard's Bar or La Scarola Restaurant. They are good people who work and hang out there, who like to eat, drink, and have a good time. If you haven't experienced it - you don't know what you are missing.

Lmao , No I was just being sarcastic as to how they're initially handling the whole situation and the statements they made , It definitely looks like a Dive lol , And they call it the best Dive around 😂

Definitely a dive. The clientele changes based on time of day. Vena would usually be there in the afternoon/early evening. After about midnight all bets are off on who is gonna be in there. Of course none of them will talk as mentioned Bobby Dominic owns the bar as well as the shithole apartments/hotel rooms above. The feds have been surveilling that place every day for many years now

Right. Bobby Dominic knows that the Feds watch the place every day yet he insists on running escorts out of the hotel rooms right above the dive bar right in front of the Feds on Camera but the Feds can't see it.

They just held a fairly extensive protest. Not sure why, it’s not Dominics fault that charges weren’t brought immediately.
