Was his murder every officially linked to lcn or organized crime? His murder is barely talked about but its pretty interesting considering the fact that he was related to the Persico's and that its also unsolved. Lastly, was he believed to be a Colombo associate?

He wasn't believed to be a Colombo associate IIRC. I don't even know how he's related to the Persicos. Nobody with the Persico surname is on the three pages of condolences in his obituary.
