So, I was doing some browsing and there are various websites I go to....and I come across this site that sometimes either reprints news or rewrites it.

Anyway, this site published an NY Post article with this headline:

Young man accused of killing Gambino family boss rants about conspiracies in court"

Am I the only one that sees something wrong with that headline???????????

The actual article from the NY Post says:

So, why would you call a psychopathic murderer a "Young Man" and yet Cali gets the label of "Gambino Family boss"

I'm just curious how forum members view this because I just don't get it.

Because the stupid asshole Comelo HAS NOT YET been "Officially Convicted". That's the way the Justice System works. Comelo might be diagnosed as being insane for all we know at this point. Cali was referred to as a "Gambino Family Boss" because of his CONVICTION in 2008 & tapes of other Mafia guys saying that he was promoted from a Capo to a Boss. He was a proven admitted convicted Felon. That hasn't happened YET with that idiot Comelo. End of Story, for Christ's sake.

That sound like a ‘fair’ headline for the Comello family?

B) Staten Island community figure, beloved husband, beloved father and family member, respected man, heartlessly gunned down in front of is home and family...’
That sounds pretty ‘fair’ to the Cali family. I’m sure they’d agree it’s fair.

If Cali killed somebody in a gangland war, it probably wouldn't be a "big deal" for you. But, since he is the victim here, you are stressing the attention to how horrible the crime of murder is and how evil was what Comello did. I am not justifying Comello, but in cases when a mafioso is the perpetrator and not the victim, are you equally passionate about condemning the murderer like you are in Comello's case?

If I were to post said thread about Cali’s favourite hairstyle (bangs vs part) and then ‘EYE’ was to retort to disagreeable comments in the thread due ‘free speech’ would I be a) enriching this site basis my free speech and ‘my’ rights or b) detracting from the quality of the site due my self indulged offended baseless subjections?
