Couple of articles from 1982 on Herbie Gross, Lakeside hotel owner who got involved in schemes with NJ mobsters and later turned informant. There are a couple short segments on YT from an interview he did for Crime inc. documentary. Nothing more really, a shame, seems like a good storyteller

That's crazy. These guys suspect the younger guy of being what they claim not to be and believe that he should not be either because that is not the correct or proper way to be according to their morality or outlook. That being the case, based solely on suspicion without evidence they do to him the very thing they are against and despise? There seems to be a little something backward or twisted about the whole thing. Or what that an elaborate excuse to do what they did to the younger guy because that is really how and what they are even if they are too afraid to face it or admit it? If you are trying to punish a guy or teach him a lesson then how do you force yourself to have sex with him if that is not what you want or attracted to? Damn.
