That's an important distinction, as Luciano didn't reveal a cache of heroin that belonged solely to him but also belonged to other mafia associates.

Was Armone a competitor of his?

Where was Armones heroin coming from, anyone know?

I was always under the impression these guys had that to themselves after Rothstein, Luciano-Lansky- Lepke...... were there other big players in the dope trade then?

Armone and Luciano were friends who grew up together on the same street. They were not competitors at all. They may have been partners on the stash

It's hard to know what their relationship was back then. Luciano was a young member of the Joe Masseria Family and Armone was probably with Toto D'Aquila. Luciano actually lived in D'Aquila territory. The Riccobonos and Biondos were based in the area of 11th to 13th Streets. I think Umberto Valente lived in that area too.

Was Armone the guy brought in for questioning after Rothstein was killed? And then he was killed soon after?

Steve Armone was a high-ranking member of the Gambino Family. Here's a Wiki article on him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Armone
