The NFL makes billions every year. Over half the owners of NFL teams are billionaires. Do you really think the league or the owners are going to risk their brand (and going to prison) by fixing some games?

I could see the ref angle in an NFL game like the NBA but not players / coaches

You would need the QB who usually makes $10-30M a year. Risk that for a what $500K win full of land mines and career ending potential . No way

Many owners were pioneers in the illegal bookmaking/Gambling industry and are now partnered up with major Bookmakers and casinos all over the world and there has been numerous NFL figures who fixed games and some who gave testimony and evidence of game fixing

That's just it, you have to go way back in time to find what you're talking about. Like what was covered in Moldea's book. To find actual cases of game fixing. For years, the NFL has been extremely careful about being connected to illegal gambling or sports fixing. The Supreme Court decision has forced the hand of all the pro leagues, and the NFL has partnered with Caesars and Sportradar (a Swiss company), but none of these entities are going to risk killing the golden goose (especially now) with game fixing scams. Whatever outlying potential risk is going to come from gamblers (mob-connected or otherwise) trying to reach a player or ref. But even that is rather unlikely.

I agree , In today's world that's not likely to happen with any mob guys getting to a ref or player or whoever , Especially since the Mob has been wiped out on that level where they operated like a 2nd government and nationwide all powerful syndicate , I do think though that some games are scripted in a way or fixed between the ownership and highest levels of the NFL and Casinos/Sportsbooks etc.
