He's one of the guys I tried to get into before, but the thread went sideways.....
Let me ask you, Maxie, you think LoDuca was a Double Affiliate? I has theory about these transatlantic types being Double affiliates, strategic measure to simplify relations and business ties between mafias operating on each other's territories.... You for sure think he was a Double affiliate?

I don’t “think” he was a double affiliate, I “know” he was a double affiliate. 100% sure!..... 1000% sure!CabriniGreen wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 5:03 am He's one of the guys I tried to get into before, but the thread went sideways.....

He was loyal to the Lucchese. It was also loyal (more loyal) to the Sicilian cosca back home in Palermo.
He was “inducted” twice!

Cabrini, as my story explains, that was done to help him facilitate transatlantic shipments through the decades for both the Sicilian and American families.
Another example would be the Gambino brothers (John, Sal and Joe). First made in Sicily, then years later with their immigration to America, they were “made” a second time under their cousin Carlo Gambino.
“Dual memberships”! ..... and there are others. It’s rare, but it does happen.

I do not have “documents” to substantiate that. The same way I don’t have documents to substantiate Loduca, or any other guy who was straightened out over there or here for that matter. BUT it’s true. In fact, he and his siblings, cousins, etc were members in good standing with (don’t quote me here) - the Passo Di Rigano borgata out of Palermo City proper.... where ALL the Gambino’s trace their lineage.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 10:22 pmFirst time what??maxiestern11 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 8:06 pmThe first time? In America, because of their cousin Carlo, they were additionally affiliated with the American Gambino crew.
“Dual” memberships. It is NOT as uncommon as you might think.

Another thing to consider is that it is widely accepted that Giovanni (John) Gambino led the brothers, as their leader in negotiations and “deals” here and back in Sicily. Wouldn’t it stand to reason that to be in a position to be able to “talk” and even interact with Sicilian mafiosi, he would need to be one himself? Otherwise they could, and would, have not sat down with him. Period!

ALL brothers were “there” over in Itay. If anything, in America they would be weaker. But in Sicily, there were strong..... only the subsequent war, and their purging and banishment to America changed that. The “gli scapatti” I believe they were called.
