Re: Ori Spado
A complete fraud!... and a longtime “Rat” for the police, both in Cali and the feds.
And a weasel, scared of his own shadow. He’s trying to pull another scam by having people believe his bullshit and buy his book! Lol
Re: Ori Spado
I'm in. I don't care how fucked up it is, I'm a sucker for any book about the mob in Cali.

Re: Ori Spado
Yeah. As bad as a lot of these are, it's always good to cross reference these against other accounts. I really only know him from Breakshot, and I don't trust Kenji's descriptions of anyone. It will mostly be bullshit, but hidden in that can be interesting stuff.
Re: Ori Spado
If nothing else, this might serve to bring Kenji out of the shadows to comment on it. He hated Ori.

Re: Ori Spado
Michael Franzese doesn't like him either. He believes that Spado is the one who got his brother hooked on drugs, and that he was using his father's name to scam people. I can add that he doesn't like challenging questions either, as per my own experience.
Re: Ori Spado
I cant believe I paid 15 bucks and change for this piece of shit. If you haven't bought it, for the love of God, save your money. The only reason I got the thing is because I thought he might give some info on the Milano mob in LA. Shit, he doesn't even mention Pete Milano or anyone connected to the family but Jimmy Caci, and then it's just "I was having coffee with my old friend Jimmy Caci one day at the Four Seasons and in walks a cute red head." That sort of bullshit, or "Me and Jimmy was at the racetrack one day..." Same with Sonny Franzese. There are no mafia stories in this book. Just the sad tale of a two bit hustler and scam artist always behind on the big score, always a brokester, never a winner. Oh, and he was never a rat. Kenji Keneko lied. Sure he made some tapes for the FBI, but just to get their money, that's all. Peace out.
